Jacqui Smith Smoked Dope

Yes, Home Secretary Jacqui Smith smoked cannabis 25 years ago whilst at university. "I was wrong" she said, in an obvious attempt to forestall the story's release elsewhere. Apparently marijuana turns people into mentalists these days, so it's being reclassified. Again. But advisers, who include leading medical specialists, have concluded that it is unlikely to cause schizophrenia. The committee said that while cannabis could produce harmful effects (munchies, dirty dishes, DvD sales, lounging about etc), these were "not of the same order as those of substances within Class B".

Is there anyone alive under the age of fifty who hasn't smoked dope?

Probably about as many who have never touched a drop of alcohol or who never, ever had a cigarette.

Having said that, isn't the stuff you can buy these days (showing my age and distinct lack of street cred) about 30-times stronger or something? Someone told me 'normal' ganja is really expensive.

I was useless enough when I was smoking the everyday stuff. Christ knows what people are like on this super-charged thingy.

I must admit that as a parent I'm a little worried. Anybody out there know some facts?

What refreshing honesty, it's asahme certain members of other parties do not admit that they did the same.

Don't think we need any facts, just look at the state of people you know who are long-term users.

Who do I believe the Soros funded "experts" or my lying eyes?

Skunk is a step up from dope - in my limited experience. Very trippy.
But look at your local papers if you want to see the drug that does the damage - alcohol. Then take a look at the mortuaries full of smokers.
There's a lot of hypocrisy about when it comes to legal and illegal drugs.

Cameron's favourite song? White Lines.
