The ever popular former Welsh Secretary John Redwood MP wanted to call referendums in Scotland and Wales on independence in order to sidestep devolution:
"I judged that a majority of people voting in both would have bought us a generation of peace and certainty on the future of the UK"
And people wonder why we love him so much here in Wales...
