So there's a new Doctor in the Bay. Yes, to the surprise of many I'm sure, David Tennant has been killed off as the Doctor. Well done to the crew for managing to keep a lid on it by leading people to believe that Tennant would remain in the role until at least next year. Who knows (literally), perhaps the special episodes that will bridge between this series and the next one in 2010 will indeed see Tennant reprising the role for a few 'flashback' episodes. It does seem a pity that his tenure of the TARDIS has come to such a sudden end in what was frankly a pretty crappy and chaotic episode.
But what Who fans will want to know is, has anybody seen James Nesbitt swanning around Cardiff of late?

I think you might be jumping the gun a bit. I suspect all is not quite what it seems. I don't think we've seen the last of David Tennant as the Doctor.
I suspect that Tennant will be back for a few flashback episodes, and that RTD wants to tie up as many loose ends in terms of plots and characters as possible before handing over to Moffat, but a full blown regeneration is a full blown regeneration. The 11th Doctor is upon us.
If you are correct, you might be interested to hear the partner of a friend of mine thinks he saw David Tennant and David Morrissey filming in Gloucester recently.
