Wayne's brain still missing

Wayne David, the Labour MP for Caerphilly, has welcomed the decision of Post Office Ltd to "look again" at the future of Gilfach Post Office in the Rhymney Valley.

"This is the stark truth. I only wish the Nationalists would put in half as much effort into fighting for local services as they do in attacking Labour MPs".

Yes indeed. That's Wayne David, the Labour MP who - unlike Plaid Cymru's MPs (who voted to stop all closures) - voted in favour of reorganising the post office service and removing governmental services from the post office counter.

Hat tip to Andrew Nutt.

And what's the deal with that moustache?

The erstwhile Wayne David is a "Parliamentary whip".........

I understand a certain amount of surgery is required before the appointment to this elevated position, apparently it entails the removal of "past activities" and the insertion of, in this case, "a New Labour road map", a modicum of humility is left for photo and TV opportunities.

Is that prejudice against a hairy upper lip?

Why aren't you posting anything about Jeffrey Canning?

Surely Wayne has to be taking the piss??

It is quite impressive to see how much Labour MPs think they can take the piss out of their consituents in the valleys.

What a shame we have no national media and no proactive local media to hold Wayne, Don et al to account.
