Still no explanation or apology from Lord Coe. And it seems the mainstream British media thinks it's perfectly acceptable for the 'Olympic Ambassador' to insult Wales and Scotland. Luckily we have this internetty thing going on really. Here's what you'll find on Wikipedia:
n September 2008 Coe controversially told reporters "F**** 'Em" when asked about the opposition to the creation of a footballing Team GB from Scottish and Welsh supporters as reported in The London Paper, 30 September 2008, page 5 "Coe: Yes to 2012 GB footy team - The Scots and Welsh? F*** 'em".
Coe and co might think they can get away with this by pretending it didn't happen, but the former athlete's apparent inability to deny the claims is in itself damning. The fact that it may have been "off the record" is neither here nor there.
So trell us Seb, when are you going to face the music? Because as I've said before: this isn't going to go away.

Even if he didn't actually use the "F" word, when he said there would be a GB team no matter what the opposition is from Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, he did in effect say "F them". He was insulting in extreme.
No excuses, apology followed by resignation should be expected.
Seb Coe has done more for sport in this country than almost anybody.
I don't believe he would say such a thing.
Perhaps the best plan would be to get goggle-eyed chief constable Brainstorm to investigate. Then we can all relax about this terrifically important matter.

He's not denying it. And Seb Coe has done nothing for sport in Wales that I can think of, although that's besides the point entirely.
